Total Voting Rights

In conformity with the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (the "Rules") provision 5.6.1, the Company would like to notify the market that as at 30 September 2021 its issued share capital consisted of 588,234,125 ordinary shares of no par value.

There are no ordinary shares held in Treasury.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 588,234,125 and this number may be used as the denominator for the calculations by which shareholders will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest, in the Company, under the Rules.

About NextEnergy Solar Fund

NESF is a specialist solar power renewable energy investment company listed on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange that invests in operating utility-scale solar power plants. The Company may invest up to 30% of its gross asset value in non-UK OECD countries, 15% in solar-focused private equity structures, and 10% in energy storage.

As at 30 June 2021, the Company had gross assets of £1,058 million and net assets of £580 million.

NESF's investment objective is to provide ordinary shareholders with attractive risk-adjusted returns, principally in the form of regular dividends, by investing in a diversified portfolio of primarily UK-based solar energy infrastructure assets. The majority of long-term cash flows from its investments are inflation-linked.
