AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting of Norman Broadbent plc to be held at 3:00pm today, Pierce Casey, Chairman, will make the following statement:

"In the outlook section of my Chairman's Statement accompanying the 31 December 2011 results, issued on 20 April 2012, I reported that the core UK executive search revenues in the first quarter to 31 March 2012 were 16 per cent ahead of the same period in 2011. I am pleased to confirm that this revenue growth trend continued in April 2012 and the outlook for May 2012 is also positive.

"Despite the difficult economic situation, coupled with the upcoming Olympics which is likely to disrupt business, the directors anticipate a profitable year in 2012.

"The directors continue to review development opportunities both in the UK and overseas."
