INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT

("Mountview" or "the Group")

Mountview Estates P.L.C., which holds its AGM today at 11.30am, publishes its Interim Management Statement covering the period from the beginning of the Group's financial year, 1 April 2013 to date.

It is always a pleasure to announce a strong performance. Results for the first three months show further advances with earnings per share up by over 16% compared with the corresponding period last year.

The management team will strive to sustain this strong start and have already made purchases totaling over £20m since 1 April 2013. Gearing remains at a modest level and the Board remains confident of the Group's financial stability.

Apart from as highlighted in this statement, there have been no significant changes in the Group's position since the publication of its Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2013. The Group's interim results, for the six months ending 30 September 2013, will be announced on 28 November 2013.
