Statement re: speculation
The Company notes that following an update on the Company's website this morning relating to the progress on the Digiturk project there has been some market speculation.
The Company stated in an RNS on 1 March 2013:
"Motive is currently in negotiation with Digiturk, the largest satellite broadcaster in Turkey relating to further contracts for support and maintenance and additional features which are related to the commercial launch of a service using Motive's software. We understand from Digiturk that the service, which has been soft-launched will begin rollout during 2013"
This morning the Company confirmed that it has been informed that the manufacture of set top boxes for the Digiturk project has begun. The Company does not have visibility on the number of set-top-boxes which will be ordered but Motive anticipates receiving revenue through software royalties per set-top box manufactured . No date has been set for the consumer launch as yet.
