Contract Win
Motive Television PLC, the television software, services and solutions provider, announces that its 100 per cent-owned Dublin-based production company, Motive Television Limited ("Motive Dublin"), has won a contract worth approximately €675,000 with Irish commercial broadcaster TV3.
The contract, which is a co-production with Asgard Media Ltd ("Asgard"), is for the production of ten live Gaelic Athletic Association ("GAA") matches during the summer of 2011.
Michael Pilsworth, Executive Chairman of Motive, said: "We are very pleased to be continuing our long association with TV3 for the production of live sport. Together with other new commissions for documentary programmes this contract win means that Motive Dublin has achieved its budgeted turnover for the year. We hope to be able to announce further production contracts in the coming months."
Ciaran O'Hara, Managing Director of Asgard, said: "Having enjoyed a very successful relationship to date with TV3 and Motive in Producing live GAA and European Football, we're very excited about this contract renewal. It illustrates TV3's commitment to the Irish Independent sector and their commitment to broadcasting Ireland's National Games to the highest technical and editorial standards."
