Metals Exploration PLC08 March 2006 METALS EXPLORATION PLC Exercise of Warrants and Notification of Change in Significant Holding 8 March 2006 Exercise of Warrants Metals Exploration PLC ("the Company") today announces that it has issued andallotted 125,000 new Ordinary Shares of 1p each, at a price of 20 pence pershare, pursuant to an exercise of warrants. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Sharesof 1p each in the Company and trading of these shares on AIM is expected tocommence on 14 March 2006. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue following this exercise of warrantsis 50,811,385. Notification of Change in Significant Holding Under sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985 and rule 17 of the AIM Rulesthe following information falls to be disclosed. As notified to the Company on 7 March 2006, Cantor Fitzgerald Europe areinterested in 3,596,500 ordinary shares of the Company.
