Marshalls PLC24 May 2005 MARSHALLS PLC AGM STATEMENT At the Annual General Meeting today, 24 May 2005, Mr Graham Holden, ChiefExecutive of Marshalls plc, the specialist Landscape Products Group, willprovide shareholders with the following update on trading: "Revenue from continuing operations on a like for like basis for the first fourmonths of 2005 was at a similar level to the previous year. Revenue fromacquisitions was in line with expectations. In the domestic market, installer order books are currently at 9.5 weeks. Thiscompares to 10.3 weeks at the same time last year. On 6 July 2005 we will provide shareholders with our usual half year tradingupdate prior to the announcement of our Interim Results on 9 September 2005."
