Marshalls PLC01 July 2005 1 July 2005 Marshalls plc (the 'Company') announces that an application has been made todayto the Financial Services Authority for the listing, and to the London StockExchange for the admission to the Official List, of 2 ordinary shares of 25pence each. These shares represent the subscriber shares originally held in theCompany prior to the Scheme of Arrangement becoming effective last year. Theseshares had not been included in the original application to the FinancialServices Authority for listing and to the London Stock Exchange for admission,on 8 July 2004. These shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares inissue and will be allotted as follows: David Graham Holden 1 shareIan David Burrell 1 share Following this announcement David Graham Holden and Ian David Burrell will hold206,770 shares and 26,716 shares respectively in the Company.
