Robin Freestone appointed Chairman
Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC ("Company") is pleased to announce that Robin Freestone, who has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2015, will be appointed Chairman of the Board at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 9 May 2019 ("AGM"), subject to regulatory confirmation.
Bruce Carnegie-Brown will stand down as Chairman and as a Non-Executive Director at the AGM. Bruce joined the Company in April 2010 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and was appointed Chairman of the Board in April 2014.
Sally James, Senior Independent Director, led the search for Bruce's successor. Sally noted: "Robin has a wealth of experience of online and digital businesses, and is well equipped to be an excellent Chairman for Moneysupermarket Group."
She also expressed the Board's thanks to the outgoing Chair: "We are very grateful to Bruce for his wisdom and guidance over the last nine years, during which time Moneysupermarket Group has achieved so much."
Robin Freestone added: "I look forward to leading the Board and working with Mark Lewis and his strong management team during the next phase of Moneysupermarket Group's growth, as we save more households more money."
Bruce Carnegie-Brown said "It has been a privilege to chair Moneysupermarket Group over the last five years and to have served on the Board for nine years. Robin is the ideal person to work with the management team on the next phase of the Company's development. I am confident of the Company's continuing success."

Robin Freestone
Robin has been a Non-Executive Director of Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC since 1 August 2015. He has been Chair of the Moneysupermarket Audit Committee since 20 April 2016. Robin is a non-executive director of Smith & Nephew plc and Capri Holdings Limited (formerly Michael Kors Holdings Limited). He sits on the advisory board to the ICAEW's Financial Reporting Committee and also chairs the ICAEW's Corporate Governance Committee. Robin was chief financial officer of Pearson PLC from 2006 to 2015. Previously he was deputy chief financial officer at Pearson and prior to that, he held a number of senior financial positions at Amersham plc (2000 to 2004), Henkel Ltd (1995 to 2000) and ICI plc (1984 to 1995).
