Monitise PLC11 October 2007 Embargoed for 7.00am, Thursday 11 October 2007 MONITISE PLC AGM Statement At the inaugural Annual General Meeting of Monitise plc ("Monitise" or the "Company") to be held at 10am this morning, Chairman, Duncan McIntyre, will makethe following statement on the progress of the business: "We continue to be pleased with the progress of the company in the period sincewe listed on the Alternative Investment Market on 28 June 2007. Our MONILINK joint venture with VocaLink has continued to make good progresswith Alliance & Leicester, HSBC and first direct. We are also delighted thatRoyal Bank of Scotland, NatWest and Ulster Bank customers now have access to ourservice. This means that over one in three current account holders in the UKcan now access the MONILINK service across any of the UK's major mobilenetworks, including 3, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Tesco Mobile, Virgin and Vodafone.We expect this increased coverage, together with marketing campaigns from bothMONILINK and our bank and operator partners, to increase awareness of theservice over the coming months. In the period we have also finalised the software licence agreement for ourNorth American joint venture with Metavante Corporation and the integration ofour service into the NYCE Payments Network. This begins to open up thesubstantial US market and we anticipate that our service will be available tocustomers of a number of US financial institutions before the end of 2007. Our 2008 product set, which includes the addition to our platform of SMS alerts,a full range of payment services and two-factor authentication services, hasbeen developed on the basis of the requirements of our key partners and our viewof the expanding demands of the consumer in this rapidly developing marketspace. In addition, it highlights the strength and scalability of the Monitiseecosystem in delivering the network effect to mobile banking and payments.
