MIRLAND APPOINTS STEVEN HOLM AS NEW NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

MirLand, one of the leading residential and commercial property developers in Russia, today announces the appointment of Steven Holm as an independent non-executive director with effect from 17 November 2008. On joining, Steven will serve as a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Steven Holm, (aged 56) a US resident, qualified as a lawyer and joined the American Bar Association in 1977. Since 1981 he has worked for law firms which have specialised in commercial real estate. In 2007 he became a Partner and Chairman of Levy Holm Pellegrino & Drath LLP a law firm specializing in commercial real estate and corporate law and between 1994 and 2006 he was a Partner of Holm & Drath LLP, the predecessor to Levy Holm Pellegrino & Drath LLP. He is currently a member of the Committee on Real Estate Financing for the New York State Bar Association.

Commenting on the appointment, Nigel Wright, Chairman, said:
