NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc ("the Company") has been notified that on 17 March 2011, Wong Hong Ren, a director of the Company, has exercised options of over 244,327 shares granted as detailed below. The shares were granted under the Company's 2003 Executive Share Option Scheme.

On completion of this transaction, Mr Wong gifted 156,080 shares to his family members.

Following these transactions, Mr Wong's beneficial interest in the Company's shares is 156,081 representing 0.0498% of the Company's issued Ordinary Share Capital
