McBride PLC04 June 2007 4th June 2007 McBride plc - Announcement of new Chairman McBride plc, Europe's leading supplier of private label household and personalcare products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Iain Napier asNon-Executive Chairman. Iain will succeed Lord Allen Sheppard who, in September2006, announced his intention to retire from the Board following the recruitmentof his successor. This change will be effective from 1 July 2007. Iain is currently the non-executive Chairman of Imperial Tobacco Group plc and anon-executive Director of Collins Stewart plc. He was previously Group CEO ofTaylor Woodrow plc prior to which he was a main board Director of Bass plc. Hisprevious non-executive Directorships include Henderson Administration, PerryGroup plc and BOC Group plc.
