Application for Listing: Scrip Dividend

Michelmersh Brick Holdings PLC (AIM: MBH.L), the specialist brick manufacturer, today announces that in connection with the scrip dividend alternative for the interim dividend of 1.15 pence per ordinary share of 20 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") the Company has received valid elections from shareholders resulting in a requirement to issue 228,382 new Ordinary Shares ("New Shares").

The Company has therefore made application for the New Shares to be issued in connection with the scrip dividend to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). The New Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with existing Ordinary Shares, and it is expected that Admission will become effective at 8.00 a.m. on or around 10 January 2020.

Following Admission, the Company's issued ordinary share capital will comprise 92,717,383 Ordinary Shares, of which none are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in the Company will be 92,717,383 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
