EMPLOYEE SHARE SCHEME SALES
Mapeley Limited announces that following the vesting of shares under the Company's share scheme, which took place on the third anniversary of the admission of its shares to listing, 33,546 ordinary shares have been sold on behalf of a director and employees to meet their tax and national insurance liabilities, as required under the rules of the Company's share scheme. The rules of the share scheme require that these sales happen automatically when share awards vest in order to provide the funds to meet the employees' tax and national insurance liabilities, which are triggered by vesting.
As part of this sale, 12,700 ordinary shares were sold on behalf of Jamie Hopkins, chief executive officer of Mapeley. Following this sale Mr Hopkins has an interest in 184,430 ordinary shares, representing 0.62% of the issued share capital of the Company.
