Analyst Visit
Marston's PLC, a leading independent brewer and pub operator, announces that it is today hosting an analyst visit to four tenanted pubs located in Stoke on Trent operating under Marston's new Retail Agreement.
The visit will include presentations by senior management setting out how the Retail Agreement allows for significantly greater control over the retail offer than traditional tenanted agreements and leads to improved pub standards for customers together with increased investment in amenities.
Following successful trials, over the next three years Marston's expects to increase the number of pubs being operated under the Retail Agreement to around six hundred pubs from its estate of 1,680 tenanted and leased pubs. There are currently 78 pubs operating under the Retail Agreement. As previously announced, an average of £50k per pub will be invested with a targeted profit improvement from the 600 pubs of £6 million per year.
During the visit no new material information will be made available.
