Appointment of Chief Executive
MaintelΒ is pleased to announceΒ the appointment of EdwardΒ ("Eddie")Β Buxton, age 47,Β as Chief Executive ofΒ the CompanyΒ with effect fromΒ the 2nd February 2009.Β EddieΒ joins from Redstone Plc where he was the Managing Director of the Telecoms division.Β Β Eddie has worked in telecoms since 1995 including senior roles with Cable and Wireless, NTL and Centrica TelecommunicationsΒ and will bring an enormous amount of experience to the role.
Tim Mason, Chief Executive of Maintel is leaving followingΒ Eddie's appointment. Tim has helped Maintel successfully grow since he co-foundedΒ it with Angus McCaffery (who is remaining as Sales Director)Β including leadingΒ its AIM listing in 2004Β and the Board would like to thank him for hisΒ considerableΒ contribution to the business over the years. Tim will remain as a major shareholder and consultant to the business whilst developing otherΒ personalΒ business opportunities.
Eddie Buxton is not currently a director of any other companies.
