Director/PDMR Shareholding

Notification of monthly investment in the Mitchells & Butlers plc Share Incentive Plan (SIP)

Equiniti Share Plan Trustees Limited as trustees of the Mitchells & Butlers plc SIP (the Trustee), notified the Company on 26 October 2015 that it purchased a total of 8,845 ordinary shares at a price of 340.79p per share on 23 October 2015 under the 'Partnership' element of the Company's SIP. The Shares are held by Equiniti Corporate Nominees Limited.

Under the terms of the SIP and as a result of standing participation instructions, eligible participating employees contribute from monthly salary to purchase 'Partnership Shares'.

As participants in the SIP, the individuals listed below are deemed to have an interest in the shares held by the Trustee. In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R (1), the Company gives notice that of the above shares acquired by the Trustee, the shares purchased on behalf of the Company's Directors and PDMRs were as follows:

These shares will be held in trust by the Trustee, in line with the rules of the SIP.
