Notification of monthly investment in the Mitchells & Butlers plc ShareIncentive Plan (SIP)
Equiniti Share Plan Trustees Limited as trustees of the Mitchells & Butlers plc SIP (the Trustee), notified the Company on 8 April 2013 that it purchased a total of 2,965 ordinary shares at a price of 316.5p per share on 5 April 2013 under the 'Partnership' element of the Company's SIP. The Shares are held by Equiniti Corporate Nominees Limited.
Under the terms of the SIP and as a result of standing participation instructions, eligible participating employees contribute from monthly salary to purchase 'Partnership Shares'.
As a participant in the SIP, the individual listed below is deemed to have an interest in the shares held by the Trustee. In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R (1), the Company gives notice that of the above shares acquired by the Trustee, the shares purchased on behalf of the Company's Directors were as follows:
