Board Changes
LightwaveRF plc ("LightwaveRF" or the "Company"), the proprietary IOT and connected devices specialist enabling the remote control and monitoring of light, heat, power and security through just one app, announces a number of board changes taking place with immediate effect.
The Company has appointed Andrew Pearson as its new Chief Executive Officer, replacing Mike Lord who has stepped down to become a non-executive director and a consultant to the Company. Tom Sykes, Commercial Director, has stepped down from the board.
The directors of the board are now as follows:
- Barry Gamble, Non-executive Chairman
- Andrew Pearson, Chief Executive Officer
- Kevin Edwards, Chief Financial Officer
- John Shermer, Founder and Chief Technical Officer
- Steve Harris, Non-executive Director
- Mike Lord, Non-executive Director and Consultant
Andrew Pearson spent six years as CEO of the global payroll services business CloudPay, before later becoming a non-executive director of the business. He has also held senior positions at several other internet related companies, including IntraLinks, Workshare and Vignette. Andrew gained a degree in Physics and a Warwick MBA before embarking on a career in internet technology.
Commenting on the board changes, Barry Gamble, Chairman, said: "I'm delighted that Andrew Pearson has joined the Board. His appointment marks another important step in the continued development of LightwaveRF. He has considerable experience in growing technology and internet related businesses and brings with him skills that will strengthen the Company's ability to deliver its strategic goals.
"I would like to thank Mike Lord for the contribution he has made and look forward to his continued service as a non-executive director and consultant. I would also like to thank Tom Sykes for his contribution both as CFO and latterly as Commercial Director."
