Latham(James) PLC18 October 2007 The Directors of James Latham plc are pleased to announce that the strongtrading conditions reported on in the accounts to 31 March 2007 and in the AGMstatement in August have continued throughout the first six months of thisfinancial year. Turnover and net profits will be comfortably ahead of theequivalent period last year. There are however signs of prices weakening in ourmarkets and so these trading conditions are not expected to continue in thesecond six months. Nevertheless turnover and profits for the year are nowexpected to be significantly ahead of current market expectations. The results for the six months to 30 September 2007 will be released on 5December 2007 and will be the first results prepared under InternationalAccounting Standards.
