LSR Group Reports First Half 2016 Operating Results

 

LSR Group (LSE: LSRG; MOEX: LSRG), one of the leading real estate developers and building materials producers in Russia, is publishing the operating results for the first half of 2016.

 

1H 2016 Operational Highlights

 

Real Estate Development and Construction:

• New contract sales increased 60% y/y in 1H and 32% y/y in 2Q by volume on the back of expanding Moscow presence and new launches. Value of the contracts reached RUB 16,7 bn in 2Q.

• Average selling price grew by 9% y/y in 1H and 14% y/y in 2Q on the back of greater Moscow share in sales mix.

• Moscow share in new contract sales continued to break record highs, with new contract sales reaching RUB 7,9 bn in 2Q (47% of total sales).

• A total of 322 thousand m2 of new housing was brought to the market in 1H.

• Construction segment delivered 484 thousand m2 in 1H.

 

Building materials:

• Challenging macroeconomic environment and low construction activity persist.

• Ready-mix concrete sales were affected the most and declined 26% y/y in 1H.

• Crushed granite sales were supported by M-11 highway construction and increased 16% y/y in 1H.
