Board Changes

LSL, a leading UK provider of residential property services incorporating estate agency and surveying businesses, today announces the following Board changes, which will all take effect from 1st January 2015.

Simon Embley has been appointed Non Executive Chairman. Simon was Group Chief Executive Officer from 2000 until he was appointed Deputy Chairman in September 2013 at the same time as Ian Crabb was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer.

Roger Matthews, who has been the Non Executive Chairman since LSL's IPO in 2006, will retire from the LSL Board on 31st December 2014.

Bill Shannon, who has been a Non Executive Director on the LSL Board since January 2014, is appointed Non Executive Deputy Chairman and will assume the role of Senior Independent Director from Mark Morris, who will continue on the LSL Board and as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Bill will also assume the role of Chairman of the Nominations Committee and continue in his role as Chair of the Remuneration Committee.

Commenting on the changes, Roger Matthews said:

"These changes reflect the Board's continued desire to implement an orderly succession. I have no doubt Simon will make a valuable contribution as Chairman. He has extensive knowledge of the residential property market and has a strong track record of delivering shareholder value."
