23 January 2013: Lombard Risk Management plc (AIM: LRM), a leading provider of integrated collateral management and liquidity, regulatory, transaction and MIS reporting solutions for the financial services industry, is pleased to announce that it has achieved CMMI-D Level 3 accreditation from the CMMI Institute (www.cmmiinstitute.com). This is in recognition of its high-quality software design, development and implementation processes.

The CMMI Institute is a subsidiary of Carnegie Innovations, Carnegie Mellon University's technology commercialisation enterprise. Work on the CMMI process originated with the SEI (Software Engineering Institute), a federally funded research and development centre sponsored by the US Department of Defense and operated by Carnegie Mellon University, an organisation well known for its highly rated programmes in computer science and engineering (www.sei.cmu.edu/).
