Total Voting Rights
Following the Company's announcements on 15 July 2008 and 21 July 2008 regarding the issue of new shares and for the purposes of the Transparency Directive, the Company's total issued share capital as at 31 July 2008 was, and at the date of this notice is, 454,973,076.
The Company's issued share capital consists of 454,973,076 ordinary shares of 1p each, with one voting right per share. There are no shares held in treasury.
The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 454,973,076.
The above figure of 454,973,076 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
