LIONTRUST ASSET MANAGEMENT PLC

Directorate changes

Liontrust Asset Management Plc ("Liontrust" or the "Company"), the specialist independent fund management group, confirms the following directorate changes:

· As previously announced, Mike Bishop will retire from the Board on 23 September 2021, after the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting, as an Independent Non-executive Director and as our Senior Independent Director.

· Sophia Tickell will step down from the Board on 23 September 2021, after conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting, as an Independent Non-executive Director.

· The Company will make a further announcement in due course on the appointment of a replacement Senior Independent Director and the recruitment of a new Non-executive Director.

Alastair Barbour, Non-executive Chairman of Liontrust, said: "On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Mike for his significant contribution over the past 10 years, both to his fellow Directors and to the Company.

Mike has used his extensive experience and knowledge of asset management to provide insights and advice that have helped Liontrust to develop, expand and enhance the Company's investment capability as well as the wider management of the business. His counsel has contributed to Liontrust's successful and continual growth over the past decade.

Mike has been a great help to me personally as well in my role as a Non-Executive Director and then as Chairman over the past year.

Sophia has also made a significant contribution to the development of Liontrust over the past four years, particularly in helping to drive the Company's commitment to sustainability and diversity. Sophia's expertise has been a great help to the Board and Liontrust in enabling the Company to be a leader in sustainable investment and to implement sustainability across the business.
