Liontrust Asset Management Share Price (LIO)

They said a few months ago that the dividend was guaranteed for 18 months. If they cut the dividend they will lose trust, the SP will drop through the floor

I don't think I have seen anywhere that the 50p dividend has been confirmed, only a target of 72p for the year (22p already paid). I have, however added today at 331p. Looking at Director buys over the last two years, these guys have been buying at well over the current price & I'm looking for a recovery over 400p.

City/ they have confirmed the 50p divi thats a given. Im holding because i think interest rates are on the way down and money will come back into the funds.

Their results showed an improvement so I can only see this share going one way very soon. Sometimes the broker ratings are inaccurate and some guesswork is applied.

Their dividend going ex in early July approx may be cut down to say 38p say. But that is extremely high yield and generous. However as there are only 64m shares in issue, the pay out would not be too expensive for Liontrust who did sound positive when they posted their trading update. Should they maintain it at 50p investors will be rejoicing, especially if they have bought in again very recently.
