Cancellation of Share Premium Account
Lighthouse Group plc (AIM: LGT), the UK's largest autonomous Independent Financial Advice and Wealth Management group, is pleased to announce that an order of the High Court of Justice was granted on 24 June 2009 confirming the cancellation of the entire share premium account of the Company, in accordance with resolutions passed at the Group's AGM on 3 June 2009.
The Court order will take effect shortly on its registration by the Registrar of Companies.
Upon the Court order taking effect, the Company will be able to eliminate the accrued deficit on its profit and loss account and to treat the remaining amount formerly standing to the credit of the share premium account of the Company as distributable reserves.
