Legal & General Group Plc Board announces the appointment of Ric Lewis as a non-executive director of Legal & General Group Plc

The Board of Legal & General Group Plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Ric Lewis as an independent non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Ric will join the Risk, Remuneration and Nomination & Corporate Governance Committees on appointment.

Ric brings to the Board significant experience in investment management and, in particular, a focus on the real estate sector. Ric has more than 25 years' of experience in the sector, including as the founder and Executive Chairman of Tristan Capital Partners, an investment manager specialising in real estate investment strategies across the UK and Continental Europe. This experience and perspective will bring further expertise to Legal & General as we continue to invest in the real economy.
