CHRIS BARTRAM JOINS BOARD AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Land Securities has today announced that Chris Bartram will join the Board as a non-executive
director on 1 August.
Chris has had a successful and broad ranging career in the property industry. He is currently Chairman of Orchard Street Investment Management LLP, a leading UK commercial property investment management firm. He is also a non-executive director of The Crown Estate which manages a £6 billion portfolio.
His experience spans the key property disciplines having been Managing Director of Haslemere NV, Chairman of Jones Lang Wootton Fund Management (1985 - 1995) and concurrently Managing Partner, UK (1990 - 1994). Previously he was Head of Property Investment, Scottish Amicable Life Assurance Society. He was also President of the British Property Federation in 2000, a non executive director of George Wimpey PLC (2001 - 2003) and Chairman, Bank of England Property Forum (2002 - 2005).
Commenting on the appointment, Land Securities Chairman, Alison Carnwath said:
