UPDATE ON ACCEPTANCES IN VOLUNTARY OFFER TO ACQUIRE 100 PER CENT. OF THE SHARES OF MARITIME INDUSTRIAL SERVICES CO. LTD. INC.

Further to the announcement dated 19 May 2011 regarding the proposed recommended offer acquisition (the "Acquisition") of Maritime Industrial Services Co. Ltd. Inc. ("MIS"), Lamprell plc (ticker: LAM) is providing an update on acceptances received on the voluntary offer to acquire all the outstanding shares of MIS.

As at 21 June 2011, Lamprell has received acceptances for approximately 40,528,696 shares in MIS, amounting in aggregate to 84.12 per cent. of the share capital and voting rights in MIS.

As announced on 19 May 2011, the acceptance period for the Offer expires on 29 June 2011 at 17:30 (CET).
