Lamprell announces appointment of Chief Financial Officer
Lamprell (ticker: LAM), a leading provider of specialist engineering services to the international oil & gas and renewable energy industries, based in the United Arab Emirates ("UAE"), makes the following announcement:
Following the announcement made on 21 December 2010 that the Chief Financial Officer of Lamprell plc ("Lamprell" or the "Company") would step down by the end of this year, the Company is pleased to confirm that it has agreed terms for the appointment of Jonathan Cooper as Chief Financial Officer. It is anticipated that Jonathan will join the Company in the latter part of 2011. In the meantime, Scott Doak will continue in the role of Chief Financial Officer and will facilitate the handover to Jonathan in due course.
Jonathan has been Finance Director at Sterling Energy plc since 2008. Previously he was Finance Director at Gulf Keystone Petroleum. He started his career at KPMG, before joining Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, having graduated from Leeds University with a Bachelor's degree and PhD in mechanical engineering.

In accordance with the UK Listing Rules, the Company confirms that there are no further details that are required to be disclosed under paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the UK Listing Rules in respect of Jonathan Cooper.
