Directorate Change Update
Kier Group plc announces that Phil White will retire as Chairman and from the board of directors (the "Board") on 31 August 2017. Philip Cox CBE, who was appointed as Chairman Designate with effect from 1 July 2017, will assume the role of Chairman on 1 September 2017.
Phil White said: "I am satisfied that there has been a thorough handover of duties since the announcement in March of Philip's appointment as Chairman Designate and, therefore, that it would be appropriate for me to stand down from the Board at the end of the month and for Philip to take over. I wish Philip and the Board every success in the future."
No information, other than that disclosed in the announcement entitled "Appointment of Chairman Designate" (released on 23 March 2017), is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.
