BOARD CHANGE - DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

28 March 2022 - Kingfisher plc ('Kingfisher'), today announces the appointment of Bill Lennie as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 May 2022. Bill will also be appointed as a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.

Bill was most recently Executive Vice President, Outside Sales and Services at The Home Depot, Inc. He retired from Home Depot in 2021 after 26 years of service with the company. During his time there, Bill held many senior leadership roles including President, Canada and Senior Vice President, International merchandising, Private brands and Global sourcing.

Bill's long tenure at The Home Depot was only interrupted by two years he spent at Dick's Sporting Goods, where he was Senior Vice President of Merchandising, Hardlines. Before his time at The Home Depot, Bill was Divisional Marketing Manager for Lowe's Companies, Inc.

There are no further matters to be disclosed in respect of his appointment under Listing Rule 9.6.13R.
