Quester VCT plc (`the company')Appointment of new DirectorThe Board of Quester VCT plc announces that Andrew Holmes was reappointed tothe Board, effective as at 13 February 2006.Andrew Holmes is Chairman of the Company's Manager, Quester Management CompanyLimited (`Quester').He had resigned from the Board of the Company, together with John Spooner, on31 January 2005, when the merger discussions started with Quester VCT 2 plc andQuester VCT 3 plc. As they also sat on those Boards they could not participateas Directors during the merger discussions. Since the conclusion of the merger,there had been a reorganisation of the management structure within Quester.Simon Acland has taken over direct responsibility for the investment processfrom Andrew Holmes, and now reports to the Board in that capacity on behalf ofthe Managers while Andrew Holmes remains as Chairman of Quester.The Board believes that Andrew Holmes' long experience in early stageinvesting, as well as his deep understanding of the Company, should be directlyavailable to the Board, and his appointment is in line with current industrypractice.Andrew Holmes continues to be a Director of Quester VCT 4 plc and Quester VCT 5plc.No further disclosures are required under Rule 9.6.13 (2), (3), (4), (5) or (6)of the Listing Rules.14 February 2006For further information please contact:Quester Tel: 0207 222 5472Richard DroverENDQUESTER VCT PLC
