Appointment of a Non-Executive Director
Jupiter Fund Management plc is pleased to announce the appointment of David Cruickshank as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 June 2021.
David Cruickshank spent his executive career at Deloitte and retired from the firm in June 2020. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and specialised in advising on large international corporate transactions. He was appointed a partner in 1988 and led the UK Tax Practice from 1998 until 2006. He was elected Chair of Deloitte's UK Board in 2007 and served two terms before being elected Chair of Deloitte's Global Board in 2015. During this period David led the Boards through a period of major regulatory change and business transformation and has broad experience across different industry sectors and geographies.
He has a keen interest in environmental, social and governance ('ESG') matters, having previously chaired the Deloitte Corporate Responsibility Committee in the UK and its Societal Impact Committee globally. He is currently Chair of the Social Progress Imperative Inc and the Education and Employers Charity and previously served as Co-Chair of the Partnering Against Corruption Initiative at the World Economic Forum. He is a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Committee Changes
David will join both the Company's Audit and Risk and Nomination Committees with effect from his appointment.
The Company is separately continuing its search and recruitment for one further Non-Executive Director.
