Rail CCTV systems contract worth £0.4m

Leading UK rail operator selects 21st Century CCTV system for fleet of trains

21st Century Technology plc (AIM; C21), one of the UK's leading specialist technology service providers to the transport industry, announces that it has successfully secured a contract for the supply of state of the art CCTV technology to a leading UK rail operator's fleet of trains.

This is a new customer for 21st Century having previously supplied Forward Facing CCTV ("FFCCTV") and in-carriage CCTV products and services to other UK Rail operators since 2013. The £0.4m contract is an urgent operational requirement and, subject to vehicle availability, is due to complete during H1 2016.

Commenting on the award 21st Century's Chief Executive, Russ Singleton, said; "We are delighted to be working with this new and important rail operator on this time sensitive requirement.
