The Company announces that it has today purchased 100,000 ordinary shares into Treasury at 375.20 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 48,490,890 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 233,143,020 The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
