Automotive Manufacturer selects Ubisense Smart Factory System for next Assembly Plant
Cambridge, UK - Ubisense Group plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (AIM: UBI), a market leader in real-time location intelligence technology, is pleased to announce that a large European automotive manufacturer has selected the Ubisense Smart Factory System for their Eastern European assembly plant, only months after choosing to go into production with the system at one of their German plants.
The Ubisense Smart Factory System has already been integrated into the manufacturer's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in Germany, making the business case compelling for adoption in this assembly plant in Eastern Europe and the potential for further adoption globally.
The Smart Factory System brings many benefits to manufacturers by eliminating inefficient processes such as manual barcode scanning or searching, and by error proofing work processes which deliver significant quality and productivity improvements.
