Impax Asset Management Group plc ("Impax" or the "Company")

Share buyback

The Company announces that on 30 November 2012 it purchased 275,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at a price of 33.5818 pence per share, for transfer into Treasury. 

Following the share buyback the Company's issued ordinary share capital consists of 115,582,431 ordinary shares of which a total of 4,974,000 ordinary shares are held in Treasury. Therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in Impax is 110,608,431 ordinary shares.

The above figure of 110,608,431 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Impax under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
