Impax Group PLC05 September 2005 Impax Group plc On 2 September 2005, Impax Group plc (the "Company) received a subscriptionnotice from Sanne Trust Company Limited, the trustee of the Impax Group EmployeeBenefit Trust 2005 (the "IGEBT") for 8,200,000 million new ordinary shares aspart of the Company's employee incentive arrangements as approved at theCompany's EGM on 4 February 2005. The potential beneficiaries of the IGEBTinclude the executive directors and employees of the Company and their families. Accordingly the Company has allotted 8,200,000 ordinary shares of 1p ("OrdinaryShares"), subject to admission of the shares to trading on the AIM of the LondonStock Exchange. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission of the8,200,000 Ordinary Shares to AIM. It is expected that admission will becomeeffective and trading will commence on 8 September 2005. Following allotment theCompany will have 45,705,166 Ordinary Shares in issue.
