Iofina, specialists in the exploration and production of iodine and iodine specialty chemical derivatives, today announces the appointment of Numis Securities Limited ("Numis") as its Nominated Adviser. Further, Iofina announces the appointment of Numis and GMP Securities Europe LLP as joint brokers to the Company. The above appointments will take effect immediately.

Updated Regulatory Disclosure Directors' Appointments

Pursuant to AIM Rule 17 and Schedule 2 Annex III of the AIM Rules, Iofina PLC provides the following disclosures relating to its directors.

Additional disclosure in relation to AIM Schedule 2 (g)

In 1995, a complaint was filed against Jeffrey Ploen by the National Association of Securities Dealers, "alleging violations of Article III, sections 1 and 19 of the rules of fair practice." The complaint stated that Ploen had guaranteed a public customer against loss in connection with the customer's purchase of stock, in violation of securities regulations. The records state that he was censured and fined USD 6,600.
