Babcock&Brown Public Ptnrships Ltd17 April 2008 17 April 2008 Not for publication, release or distribution in whole or in part inAustralia, Canada, Japan or the United States Babcock & Brown Public Partnerships Limited Placing and Offer for Subscription of C Shares at an Issue Price of 100 pence per C Share The Board of Babcock & Brown Public Partnerships Limited ("BBPP"), the globalpublic infrastructure fund, announces the results of its Placing and Offer forSubscription of C Shares. An aggregate of 84 million BBPP C Shares will be issued at a price of 100 penceper C Share, of which an aggregate of 8 million C Shares will be issued in theOffer for Subscription and 76 million C Shares in the Placing. The Issue saw demand from both institutional and private investors. The Issueprovides the Company with additional equity capital to complete the previouslyannounced acquisition of a further portfolio of UK, European and Australianpublic infrastructure assets as well as additional funding for its projectedinvestment pipeline. An application has been made for the C Shares to be admitted to the OfficialList of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the main market for listedsecurities of the London Stock Exchange. Babcock & Brown Ltd will hold 7 million C Shares after the Issue together with25 million Ordinary Shares in BBPP, maintaining its overall interest of 8.33%, aposition it has held since the Initial Public Offer in November 2006.
