Infinis Energy plc (the "Company") announces that it has today received notification from Monterey Capital II S.à r.l. ("Monterey"), a company wholly-owned by funds managed by Terra Firma, that Monterey proposes to replace Damian Darragh with Radu Gruescu as one of its nominee non-independent Non-Executive directors on the board of the Company. Such termination and commencement of appointment will take effect today.

Radu Gruescu is a Director at Terra Firma, focusing on energy and infrastructure investments and has previously worked closely with Infinis, as a director of Infinis Capital Limited (the former Infinis governance board prior to IPO), on a number of strategic initiatives covering Infinis' development, financing and growth agenda. Prior to joining Terra Firma Mr Gruescu held power business development and mergers and acquisitions roles at Centrica plc and a number of investment banking and private equity positions focused on the energy sector. He has a degree in electrical engineering with business administration from the Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany).
