Ilika (AIM: IKA), the accelerated materials innovation company, announces that it has entered into a commercial contract with a new customer, based in the EU, for the development of battery materials.
Β
This six month contract takes the level of committed revenue for the current financial year to over Β£825k, which is significantly ahead of the Β£535k committed revenue at the same point last year.

Commenting on the contract, Graeme Purdy, CEO of Ilika, said: "This programme is a further demonstration of the strength of Ilika's technology platform for the development of leading edge lithium ion battery materials. It also continues the progress that we have made in attracting and retaining customers in Europe."
