International Greetings PLC20 September 2006 20 September 2006 International Greetings plc ("International Greetings" or "the Group") AGM Statement and trading update At the Annual General Meeting of International Greetings (AIM: IGR), the leadingdesigner and manufacturer of private label greetings products, wrapping paperand film and television character based licensed stationery, Keith James, theGroup's incoming Chairman, said: "I am pleased to report that we have made a positive start to this year and weare happy with the progress that our recent acquisition, Alligator Books, hasmade. Alligator has now been integrated fully into the Group and is performingto our expectations. "Our Christmas trading season has commenced and we are receiving positivefeedback from our retail customers for their expectations for this year's sales. "On a personal note, I am delighted to have taken the helm of InternationalGreetings, and on behalf of the Board would like to thank John Elfed Jones forthe contribution he has made during his 10 year tenure as Chairman. John isremaining a non-executive Director, so we will continue to benefit from hisconsiderable experience and expertise." In addition, all resolutions proposed at the meeting were duly passed. Accordingly, a final dividend of 7 pence per share will be payable on the 22 September 2006, to shareholders on the register on 1 September 2006.
