KP Renewables PLC30 October 2006 30 October 2006 Death of Chief Executive and Sale of wind projects It is with great regret that the Board of KP Renewables plc (the "Company")announces that the Chief Executive of the Company, Dr James Watkins, died at theweekend. The Board extends its sympathy to Dr Watkins' family and wishes torecord its gratitude for the contribution made by Dr Watkins to the Company fromits inception. The Chief Executive's duties are currently being discharged by Board members andthe Board is considering options for the ongoing executive management of theCompany and expects to make an announcement in this regard shortly. The Company is continuing to evaluate a number of options regarding itsfinancing and the best means of executing its strategy for the benefit ofshareholders.
