APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board of Havelock Europa PLC, the AIM quoted retail and educational interiors group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alastair Kerr (aged 62) as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 September 2012.

Alastair's career in the retail sector has spanned more than three decades, beginning with a graduate traineeship with Marks & Spencer and including senior management positions at Mothercare Europe, Virgin Retail Europe, Kwik-Fit (GB) and, most recently, as Managing Director of EMEA at The Body Shop International.

Alastair is currently a non-executive director at White Stuff Limited and Fuller, Smith and Turner PLC, where he is also chairman of the remuneration committee. He is also a trustee of The Body Shop Foundation.

There are no other disclosures required under Schedule Two (g) of the AIM rules.
