Result of Annual General Meeting

Havelock Europa (HVE.L), the retail and educational interiors group, announces that the resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held earlier today, as set out in the notice issued on 6 May 2014, were all duly approved by shareholders.

David MacLellan, Chairman of Havelock Europa, made the following statement at the AGM:

"The Group continues to operate in a very competitive market and, consistent with previous years, the first half is proving to be quiet. However, recent discussions with new and existing clients give us confidence that activity levels will rise in the second half of the year. As indicated in our final results, we expect Education to be subdued in 2014, but we are seeing encouraging levels of enquiries and quotations which we are working hard to convert into a strong order book for 2015. We remain focused on cost control and improving our margins through operational performance and efficiencies the benefits of which will be apparent in future periods.

We continue to invest in the future of the business and a new Enterprise Resource Planning Programme is being put in place to increase the Group's efficiency and ensure it remains competitive in the marketplace. I am pleased to report that our new Graduate Scheme is underway and we have commenced the process of recruiting a number of graduates into the business. This will, we hope, build on the success that we have enjoyed with the Apprentices Scheme and the Havelock Academy."
