Director Resignation
The Company announces that Mr Malcolm Le May has tendered his resignation as a non-executive director of the Company. Mr Le May has been appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of Provident Financial plc
The date on which Mr Le May's resignation will become effective has yet to be decided and the Company is in discussions regarding an appropriate period of notice. A further announcement will be made in due course.
Mr Le May was appointed to the Company's Board on 3 September 2015 and he currently chairs the Remuneration Committee.
Mike Fairey, the Company's Chairman, commented: "We understand the reasons behind Malcolm's decision to resign his position with the Company and I would like to thank him for his contribution during his period of office. On behalf of the Board, I would like to wish Malcolm every success in his new post."
